Features for Automated Product Sorting

Merchandiser decides the order of products on your category, brand and list pages from your own data, and leaves the final say to your team.

All features

  • Merchandiser AI

A machine-learning model trained on your own store's data ranks each collection by predicted sales potential.

  • Sorting Rules and Ranking Signals

Rules that score every product from sales, traffic, stock and product data, with a schedule for each collection.

  • Product Pinning

Pin products to exact positions, one by one or from a spreadsheet, and let pins release themselves when they are no longer needed.

  • Version History and Rollback

Every change your team makes to a collection is saved as a version you can compare, sign off and roll back.

  • Collection Health Score

A score from 0 to 100 for every active collection, built from seven signals, that shows what to fix first.

  • Insights and Reports

Findings about your products and collections with evidence and a recommended action, plus product badges, top-product reports and exports.

  • Product-Tag Feed

Your catalog's ranking as a file of tags (top 20, 21-50 and so on) that your feed tool turns into campaign segments.

How the Features Fit Together

Each feature covers one step between your catalog and the order your customers see.

  1. Your data comes in

Products arrive through a feed (XML, CSV, JSON or API) with their price, stock, sizes and attributes. Views, add-to-carts and sales are added for every product.

  2. Every collection is ranked

A sorting rule or Merchandiser AI scores each product, and the collection is re-sorted on its own schedule.

  3. Your pins stay where you put them

Pinned products keep their positions, and everything else is sorted around them.

  4. The order reaches your store

The ranking is calculated on Merchandiser's servers and sent to your store platform, so your pages load as they always do.

  5. Changes are kept and can be undone

What your team changes is saved in the version history, where it can be compared, signed off and rolled back.

  6. You see which pages need attention

The Collection Health Score rates every active collection and says what to fix first.
