What the Score Tells You
A store can have hundreds of collections, and nobody can inspect them all by hand. The Collection Health Score answers one question for each of them: how well is this page set up to sell right now?
Every active collection gets a score from 0 to 100 and one of three grades: healthy, needs attention or at risk. The list starts with the lowest scores, so the collections that need work come first.

The Seven Signals
- Top-of-Page Availability
- How many of the first products on the page are fully available: in stock and not short of sizes.
- Stock Health
- The share of the collection's products that are in stock. An empty collection scores zero here.
- Traffic Trend
- This week's visits to the collection compared with last week's.
- Sort Freshness
- The time since the collection was last sorted, measured against its own sort frequency.
- Product Diversity
- Whether a single brand takes up too much of the assortment.
- Pin Discipline
- The share of the collection's products that are pinned.
- Feed Freshness
- The time since the last successful product feed of your account.
How the Score Is Put Together
Each signal is scored from 0 to 100, and the signals are then combined into the collection's score. They do not count equally: availability at the top of the page and stock health weigh the most.
A signal that cannot be judged fairly is left out, and the score is calculated from the others. A collection without enough traffic history has no traffic trend. Brand pages and small collections are not judged on brand variety.
Evidence and a Recommended Action
A number alone does not tell you what to do. Every signal comes with its evidence, such as how many of the first products are fully available or how long ago the collection was last sorted. A weak signal also comes with a recommendation:
- Replenish or demote out-of-stock and size-broken products near the top.
- Review pins so manual positions do not block better-performing products.
- Cap repetition from a single brand to keep the shelf varied.
- Check the sort schedule; the collection may be overdue for re-sorting.
Where You See It
The Collection Health page lists every active collection with its score, its signals and the issue to focus on, together with the average score of your account. You can search the list and filter it by grade.
The score also appears on each collection's sort page with its number of open issues, right where you pin products and change the sorting rule.
What It Does Not Measure
The score describes the condition of the shelf, not its sales. Conversion rate and revenue are not part of it. It also changes nothing by itself: it reports and recommends, and your team decides what to do.
